Axum East With the demise of Pearl's you thought jazz was dead in San Francisco?

So did we, until we discovered Axum East. Great food, full bar, no cover, and some of the hippest music in town. Ok, we're biased... but check out this review in The Wave, "The Bay Area's Best Entertainment Mag":

Traditional Ethiopian is delicious, filling, spicy, healthy, sloppy, mushy, slippery and sultry. It's designed to be shared without utensils, which makes it the perfect communal or intimate date affair. And... the whole experience is set to live jazz in one of the hippest, most authentically renovated spaces in all of San Francisco.
(We especially like the part about "torchy vocalist Cathy Felter...")
