Draw the horizon line and color the sky and land

  • Draw the horizon line
    • Choose the Brush Tool from the floating toolbar
    • Activate the Brushes options palette
    • Choose the second brush, top row
    • Draw the horizon line on the working canvas

  • Color the sky
    • Activate the Swatches options palette
    • Choose a blue for the sky
    • Choose the Paint Bucket Tool from the floating toolbar
    • Fill the area over the horizon with blue

  • Color the land
    • Choose a green from the Swatches options palette
    • Fill the area beneath the horizon line with green

  • Save the file
    • Menu: File/Save As...
      • File Name: first_drawing.psd
      • Save As: Photoshop (*.PSD,*.PDD)
