     I agree with all the trends identified in the article you summarized 
     so well.  I think HP is doing reasonably well in enabling employees to 
     "consume" learning in a variety of innovative ways.  It's fortunate 
     that we don't have the kind of tenure issues to contend with here at 
     HP that universities are wrestling with.
