Just back from teaching in Manchester to find a jottings.1. Oho. IT in teaching huh? Trying to make an old man redundant, eh? ;-) IT has its place and will probably increase, but you can't beat face-to-face for the human interaction and flexibility. IT is ok for relatively simple learning situation (and I'm sure it will get better). Face-to-face is better for less deterministic situations. eg. IT: Learning Freelance. face-to-face: problem solving. What ho, Dave
